The Flashback

Sharing prosperity with others is a wonderful thing. I remember as a child my parents teaching me strong values in life. I have always had a passion to help others who were in need.  I used to give my time to help victims of violent crimes. I have shared my dinner table with families that had no table to sit at.  I never think twice of giving I just know its the right thing for me to do.  I remember the times in my life that I was a victim of violence and forced to ask for help. I learned no matter who you are or where you come from some day you may need to ask for helping hand.

The news reports that charitable giving is down, and a lot of families appear to be down and out across the nation. The lines for food and assistance were crazy long in Seattle a month ago as we drove near downtown.

When we received our payout from TVI Express this week My husband and I decided that we were going to donate a portion of all TVI payouts with local charities.

This donation went to the Children’s Miracle Network (memfound.org). This local foundation supports  Children’s Village, North Star, Children’s Miracle Network, and OHANA here in Yakima Valley.  FlashbackProduction.com also donated free portraits to the family of  terminally ill children in the Yakima Valley.  I want to help preserve the memories of family in times of need.  Any parent or guardian of a child who is terminally ill please feel free to contact me to schedule a portrait session of your child or family.  I only do lifestyle portraits, so I will come to you.
